A 100-year old Cyclone Board Track Racer, once owned by Steve McQueen, just sold for $775,000, making it one of the highest priced motorcycles ever sold at auction.
Manufactured by the Joerns Motor Manufacturing Co. between 1913 and 1916, despite appearances, the bike could reach speeds of up to 111 mph.
Obviously having McQueen's legacy attached to the completely restored motorcycle ups the value dramatically, but the Cyclone Board Track Racer is definitely a piece of motorcycle history in its own right.
Despite the high price it fetched, it doesn't even come close to being the most expensive motorcycle ever sold at auction. That honor belongs to the chopper from Easy Rider, which went for an unbelievable $1.35 million in 2014.
